The branding process
Learn more about how the process works through four simple stages.
Stage One
Getting to know you and your business
This phase is all about getting know you and building an in-depth understanding of your business, values and goals. We’ll kick off with a ‘Getting to know you’ questionnaire, covering:
-
Your values and goals
-
Your product or service
-
Your competition
-
Your target audience
-
The market you operate in
Following this I will collate the information into a brand brief, providing a timeline for the project, your own to do list, and an outline of deliverables.
Stage Two
Your logo
The logo is a key piece of your brand development – which is why it gets a whole stage dedicated to it. Using what I've learned about your business in stage one, I will create a logo to fit your business, providing a number of variations in layout and colour to allow you to use your new logo in a variety of settings.
Stage Three
Developing your brand
This is the chunkiest stage of the branding process, where I really get my teeth into establishing your new brand, with colours, fonts, graphic elements and the creation of a clear and concise brand style guide booklet; a ‘rule book’ on how to communicate your brand. This will include your brand’s tone of voice, logo usage, colour palette, mission statement and brand vision.
Stage Four
Brand collateral
Using your fresh new brand style, I will create a variety of branded collateral for you based on your specific business needs. This will have been agreed upon in stage one, and could include business cards, stationery, social media artwork, and anything else you need.
